The official Xinhua News Agency reported that during the Golden Week holidays beginning Oct. 1, China registered some 515 million passenger-trips, about 30% below the same period last year. 

This is the second highest human migration week in China, after the Spring Festival which registered 1.2 billion pax-trips in February 2021.
